Lot (5) Coronet Head US Large Cent years 1817, 1819, 1822, 1827
We discovered these Large One Cent US Coronet Coins in Great Grandpa’s coin box.
These circulated coins vary in condition and appear chocolate in color, with the exception of one coin, which appears more brownish. Please view
photos for condition of these items.
The years on these coins are 1817, 1819, 1822 and 1827. There is one coin where only the "18" is legible, so we are unable to identify the year of that coin. It is the last two pictures in the series, and it is also the one that is brownish in color.
Pictures of fronts correspond to the pictures of the back, in order.
Please note that we are not coin experts, and
feel these coins would be better in a collectors hands. We have not polished or cleaned these coins in
any way, we will leave that to the experts. Under material we have them as Copper, as that is what research shows us. Any information fellow ebayers can share with us on these coins is greatly
appreciated.
