Here is a nice vintage encased coin, both the copper cent and its aluminum enclosure in quite fine condition overall, made in the shape of a horseshoe, the unit measuring app. 1 & 5/8" by 1 & 3/8. There is only minimal wear on the framework, and it is bright, with just some spotting on the coin, and I have not cleaned this in any way.
The obverse features a 1946 Philadelphia Mint Lincoln wheat cent surrounded by an upside-down horseshoe and framed in a wishbone, with "Keep Me And Never Go Broke" inside the shoe, a four-leaf clover at the top and "I Bring Good Luck" at the bottom. The top of the reverse reads "Keep 'Marty Heutel' On The Job", with "August 6th" at the bottom. This old piece has been attributed to Kansas City, Missouri. Your vote counts! $1.99
